… and she decided to be crafty and made a cushion for her rockin’ chair last Thursday. Excited and happily brought out the fabric from the cupboard, took some measurements (length and width). Pinned both fabric (front and back) and cut it out. She was pretty cautious when she cut her fabric making sure she didn’t miss the lines she marked down. Next, she placed them over a soft thick batting and again, cut it out slowly. Funny girl, I have not seen her being so careful for a long time, as she moved her masterpiece around as she sewed. She told me in mandarin, “很紧张” (read: very nervous). I asked, “why?”. She can’t tell me *smile* but I am glad she did something! and she is onto another project now.
Thankful for a beautiful Monday thus far! ♥ Jean
